Summer Texas State Road Trip Part I Corpus Christi – August 2019

The first leg of our Texas road trip was Corpus Christi, TX.

As soon as we arrived at the hotel Madison befriended a stray cat. She fed her well. lol.

We set off to explore the Texas State Aquarium. It is a phenomenal aquarium. I didn’t realize how much so until we went. I’m only choosing to include a few photos, but it is a must if you’re in the area—plan on spending an entire day there.

We really enjoyed the dolphin show.

They had several touch tanks. Madison is petting a sting Ray here.

This parrot was awesome!

And they even had artwork on display. I had to get Madison’s picture next to this one. 😂

We viewed the USS Lexington from afar, but did not have time to go tour it.

Madison tried alligator bites for lunch, but was not a fan.

We took a walk along North Beach and saw some beautiful whelk shells.

But they were all homes to living creatures so we moved on.

After a full day, we were exhausted and ready to hit the hay for our upcoming fun adventures.
